- What the market expected. For each bet we take the line most sportsbooks offer and average each book’s price with its margin removed. If the books price an over at 55%, the market expects it to win 55 times in 100.
- What happened. Results come from official box scores. Pushes are counted separately.
- Is it more than chance? Every chart shows the range that luck alone usually produces, so a hot streak in a small sample isn’t mistaken for a trend.
- When prices are captured. These are the last prices we saved before games, not closing lines. Each sport page says when.
